Patriots welcome Dan Mitchell

Dan Mitchell, newest member of the Bluegrass Patriots, has been a longtime musician in Colorado. Playing in various bands spanning 30 years, he has been part of such groups as The Bluegrass Pals and Charles Sawtelle and the Whippets.

Dan started playing violin at age 12 after hearing his Dad play “Devil’s Dream” on the fiddle; soon afterwards he was bitten by the bluegrass bug, and he now plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and bass. Dan is greatly looking forward to this exciting opportunity to play with the Bluegrass Patriots.”
